Project Groundhog 2007

Room 13 is participating in Project Groundhog 2007. We joined this project because Groundhog Day is always a big day in room 13 since it is also Mrs. Brunner's birthday. Our class is part of grades 1-2, Team 1. Here are some of the activities we've participated in during this project:

 

Week 1, February 2-8:  First, we named our class groundhog, Shadow, and took a class poll about whether or not we thought Punxsutawney Phil in Pennsylvania would see his shadow on Groundhog Day.

Our results:  9 out of 17 students thought he WOULD NOT see his shadow.
